青海大煤沟新元古代冰碛岩的发现及地质意义THE DISCOVERY OF NEOPROTEROZOIC TILLITE IN THE DAMEIGOU REGION OF QINGHAI PROVINCE AND ITS GEOLOGICAL SIGNIFICANCE

摘要(Abstract):
柴达木盆地东北缘大煤沟剖面发现新元古代冰川沉积,该套冰川沉积物保存了擦痕、镜面以及混杂堆积等冰川作用痕迹。这种冰川融出碛是冰川融化之后冰川内陆源碎屑物质垂向卸载的产物。通过对前述沉积特征的描述及对各类沉积构造形成机理的解释,建立了"冰川-冰河"沉积模式。这套冰川沉积的发现证实柴达木盆地东北缘地区经历过新元古代早期冰川事件。该冰碛岩所指示的冰川事件发生在800~740 Ma左右,不会晚于730 Ma,年代上应该与Kaigas冰期对应。保存这套冰碛岩的地层也并非早侏罗世沉积,而是晋宁运动后新元古代早期拉伸纪地层。
