湖北武汉晚泥盆世五通组双壳类新材料及其古环境意义NEW MATERIAL OF BIVALVES FROM THE UPPER DEVONIAN WUTUNG FORMATION IN WUHAN, HUBEI AND THEIR PALAEOENVIRONMENTAL SIGNIFICANCE

摘要(Abstract):
本文首次报道和描述了武汉地区上泥盆统五通组的双壳类化石,将其定名为Sanguinolitessp.(血石蛤未定种)。通过对比五通组Sanguinolites和石炭纪cf. Sanguinolites与Carbonicola的大小、壳形、产出层段,以及双壳类的适应性形态功能,综合岩性和植物化石的保存状态,本研究认为武汉五通组的沉积环境为低输沙量、低水动能的局限海湾环境,食物可获得性较差。低输沙量与晚泥盆世植被发育及其对地表土壤的保护,以及该区的地理位置有关,而低水动能可能是由于障壁岛(或障壁沙坝)的存在,使得研究区成为半封闭的水域,海水能量较低。这种相对闭塞的低能环境,也是造成这一地区双壳类分异度低、个体小和壳薄的主要原因。新发现的化石材料填补了中扬子地区五通组双壳类的空白,对该地区古环境和古地理的重建具有重要意义。
